Privacy Policy

At HuVaTo ("we", "us"), we take your privacy extremely seriously. In this document, we explain in plain English what data we collect via the SimpleMacro app, why we do this, and how we protect it.

1. What data do we collect?

Account Data: When you create an account, we securely store your email address and a hashed (encrypted) password.
App Data: The meals you log, your weight, and water intake. These are stored locally on your device and securely synchronized with our cloud database so your data is never lost.

2. Third-Party Services

SimpleMacro works with a few strictly selected and secure third-party partners to provide certain features:

Google Gemini (AI Features): When you type, dictate, or take a picture of a meal, we send this data securely to the Google API to calculate the macros. Your account details (email) are never shared. The data is used exclusively for the calculation.
OpenFoodFacts: When you scan a barcode, we send the code to the public OpenFoodFacts database. No personal data is shared in this process.
Lemon Squeezy (Payments): If you choose a PRO subscription, the payment is fully handled by Lemon Squeezy (our Merchant of Record). We do not store any bank or credit card details ourselves.

3. Deleting your data

You always have full control over your data. Within the Settings of the SimpleMacro app, you will find a "Delete Data" button. This allows you to instantly erase all your logged meals, weight entries, and water intake from our servers.
